Cabinet
The ESD cabinet was carefully designed to guarantee the maximum mechanical protection of the internal
hardware.
A single screw accommodated in a bush, which in turn provides accommodation for a fiscal seal, locks
the cabinet.
The supply and HOST serial port connectors are located on the ESD rear, the PC serial port connector
is located down the base.
Keyboard
The keyboard is used to enter all data and the control sequences.
The keyboard has a non-glare legend with a key color outline for ease of access.
The upper left corner key is the ON/OFF switch of the register.
Display
The ESD is equipped with one LCD displays, i.e. the operator display.
The display has a ten digit capacity.
All digits have 7 segments + decimal point.
The displays is incremental; indicating each digit as it is entered.
Printer
The machine has one station thermal printer offering 24 characters easy readable high 2,5 mm.
A paper detector is present on the printer station, which lock the operations when paper is out. Once
the paper is sensed an automatic paper feed occurs to let the paper come out of the printer.
Double height characters can be programmed for all of the header message lines.
The ESD features a wide character set. Alpha programming can be accomplished using the coding
provided in Appendix.
